About
Jamil Fatti is an artist, photographer, and landscape architect whose recent work explores the creation of “meaning” in relation to intersubjectivity, the poetics of love and loss, and the interplay between temporality, death, and futility. His work is informed by literature, philosophy, and personal experiences as a conceptual framework. He uses photography to reconstitute fragments from the external world into scenes that reflect subjective inner realities. Figures in his work act as portals to access deeper symbolic meaning; they function as representations of ideas and concepts, while simultaneously expressing a range of emotions within a particular work.
